For the 2017/2018 academic year, thanks to funds raised by partners and donors - 1 645 children from 26 regions receive a free hot lunch.
Providing free meal to some particularly needy children is their only opportunity to attend regular classes. In the period 2004-2017, thanks to the Care Partners Network of BRC close to 14 298 children received free meals each school day.
Anyone can support the cause. 1 free meal to 1 child in need in Bulgaria costs BGN 2.
Every donation is valuable for us as even the smallest amount could feed a child in need.
The main objective of the campaign is to support the physical development of orphans, homeless and children of single parents and to reduce their morbidity through a hot meal.

SMS to number 1255, the price of one SMS is 1 BGN (exc VAT).
Since March 2016 you can become a regular donor with monthly donations for Hot Meal Programme of BRC via mobile phone. Send SMS to the short number 1255. You will receive a thanksgiving SMS with a proposal to donate each month 2 or 5 BGN. With regular donations you can help needy Bulgarian children to receive free hot meals, provided by BRC each school day during the school year.
